Cristal is the world’s second-largest producer of Titanium Dioxide (TiO2) pigment.
It has 7 TiO2 plants across five continents; 2 in the United States, 1 in the United Kingdom, 1 in France, 1 in Saudi Arabia, I in Australia and 1 in Brazil.
Its Brazilian operation comprises three units: the Guajú mine in Mataraca, state of Paraíba; the plant in Camaçari, state of Bahia; and a commercial office in São Paulo.
The Brazilian subsidiary’s current corporate structure shows that the units in France (Thann) and the United Kingdom (Australind) hold 35% and 37%, respectively, of the organization’s share capital.
The remaining 28% of share capital is freely traded on the São Paulo stock exchange (Bovespa) under the symbols CRPG5 and CRPG6, following all transparency- and governance-related recommendations and practices for this category.
